Below I've listed some of the most common questions that people ask, along with the answers. What is the age range in relation to training? I haven't set a specific age range in relation to training because I'm of the belief regardless of our age there is always room for improvement. In saying that I'm currently training clients starting at seven years old right up until 61. Anyone who wants to change or just maintain their current level of fitness Fit N Focused is willing to train. Of course all programs are devised depending on age, goals, medical history etc. Who are your programs designed for? My programs are designed for anyone looking to change or maintain their current level of fitness. After an initial health appraisal I will have a solid foundation to work with in regards to your fitness level and exactly what it is you want to achieve. From there I will design each session accordingly. I enjoy adding lots of variety to each work out so the body and mind stay stimulated. Where do you hold your training sessions? The training sessions are held at the Fit N Focused studio in Breakwater. This is not to say we don't train outdoors! If the weather conditions are fine, I enjoy doing sessions outdoors at locations like Eastern Beach, Queens Park, Buckley Falls and along the Surf Coast particularly Torquay and Anglesea. I train clients all around the local region and have plenty of favourite training venues. Our gym is fully equipped with treadmills, bikes, rower, boxing ring, bags, speedballs and free weights. However it is also close to the Barwon River and Breakwater Oval so sessions are full of variety. How will I monitor my progress? Your progress will be monitored by regular fitness assessments. Ideally your very first session will comprise an initial health appraisal that will include a range of basic fitness tests as well as measurements. From there, and depending on how consistently you train, your progress will be monitored by the fitness tests. Depending on how many times a week you are training and what you are doing outside of personal training, I like to do the fitness assessments every 7-8 weeks. This gives you and your body time to adapt to the training and then see results. Of course you can keep track at home as well with food and fitness logs as well as weighing yourself.
How much weight can I expect to lose if I do the Bride-to-be Package? If you take up the 12 week Bride to be Package the weight loss is very much dependent on guess who…YOU! Ideally we will complete three sessions a week and I guarantee we will get the most out of them. You will be keeping a food and fitness log diary so we can monitor your good and bad habits. If you do everything right with me and outside of your sessions there is no reason why you cannot experience a five to ten kilogram weight loss. It all depends on how hard you work and how disciplined you stay but what bigger incentive could there be than looking the best you have ever looked on one of the biggest days of your life. I have equipment at home and would prefer to train in the comfort of my own home. Are you able to come to me? If you only enjoy training in the comfort of your own home that's no problem because Fit N Focused can come to you. All you have to do is be prepared to train and we'll show up and do the rest. We bring all the equipment with us and can design the program to suit you and the room restrictions if there are any. You will be surprised at just how many exercises can be done around the house or outdoors. If you have equipment that you want to include in the work out that is also no problem. I'm training a number of clients at home with all of them currently enjoying the varied exercise routines I put in place. |
