Bride Personal Training Package

I started training with Matt in preparation for my wedding in November 2007, but I have been so happy  with the results and enjoy the sessions so much, that I intend to keep up the training indefinitely. I train 3 sessions per week and love the variety in each session – whether we’re at Matt’s boxing gym, down at Eastern Beach or running up the stairs at Buckley Falls – I always feel challenged, motivated and most of all, I have fun. Matt is always encouraging and he understands how to get the best out me. He is genuinely interested in helping others achieve their fitness and lifestyle goals. First session free

The first session will include a series of basic fitness tests that will give us an idea of your current level of fitness. Included in the fitness tests will be resting blood pressure, weight, height and girth measurements. These are all necessary to help keep track of your progress throughout the 12-week program. Your goals will also be discussed at length on the first session so we can tailor the remaining part of your program accordingly. The first session is free and you are under no obligation to continue.

35 sessions over 12 weeks

Ideally three sessions will be conducted a week. Three sessions a week helps with the accountability factor and keeps you motivated. If though your lifestyle or work commitments do not permit we can spread out the program to meet your needs. In regards to training times we are very flexible and have a number of locations to use, including the Fit N Focused Studio, so it will never be inconvenient for both of us.

Health Appraisal & Goal Setting

The initial health appraisal will be done on the first session so I can assess your current level of fitness. It is a very basic series of tests that can be done at your own pace. In regards to goal setting we will discuss what it is you hope to achieve before the memorable day. I will take notes and make sure the goals are realistic by using the S.M.A.R.T formula. That is making sure they are specific, measurable, adjustable, realistic and time framed. If you continue with the program after the first session you will be given a laminated copy of your goals to help keep focused!

Nutritional Advice

As well as a food and fitness log journal you will be given nutritional advice throughout the duration of the program. We can monitor exactly what you are eating and drinking and discuss the strengths and weaknesses of both. Hand out sheets and recipes will also be given out throughout the package.

Food & Fitness Log

The food and fitness log will help me understand your good and bad eating habits. It will be required daily and at the end of every week we can discuss the week's eating habits. It will also be a good indication of how much exercise you are doing outside our sessions and exactly how much incidental activity is taking place.

Pamper Package

At the six week part of the program you will be given a pamper package voucher as a reward for all your hard work! It can be used closer to the wedding or that day! You will then come back invigorated and ready to complete the last six weeks of the Bride to be Package.

After my fiance and I decided to get married in North Queensland, and after realising that I'd spending the holiday in either a wedding gown or a bikini, I decided that I needed to get in shape! I train with Matt twice a week, concentrating on fitness and toning up those 'key dress areas!'
